Dreams Come AliveWith warm loving arms you come To caress my soul Igniting a fire within I thought was long burned out You’d always be there If only I didn’t wake up But night slips away As the sun starts to rise high Bringing in a brand new day I wait for the night For those dreams to come alive As you hold me close Feeling your tender caress As you light that fire again 5-23-09 Oklahoma Rose |

Yes, sometimes our dreams are so real and vivid, it's a crying shame when we wake up to reality. Nice poem~ |

Perhaps the dream state is the real reality. We can't really know for sure because we're sleeping - well, certainly part of us is sleeping and the other half - loving perhaps? Dream on and write on! Helen |

BluesSerenade, yes it is a shame, when I wake up. I would rather stay in my dreams. Margherita, thank you for reading and replying. I suppose you are right. But, my question is, how long does it take for a heart to fully mend? Bloodline, thank you for your very nice reply. And, Welcome to Pip. It's nice to see another Okie here at Pip. Honeybunch, I would rather stay in that dream state. I do both, sleep and love. LOL! Alison, my dear friend, thank you for your very kind reply. I am glad you like my poetry. Maybe, just maybe, what I write may touch someone else in some way. |

You ask, how long it takes ... your heart is healed in that moment when you succeed in listening to your soul's voice, when it whispers that you are loved ALWAYS, IN EVERY MOMENT. We can always cherish memories, but we must not waste our present time opportunities by clinging to them. "I am loved, I am LOVE!" say it and then life will unfold according to your belief. And you will be showered with new gifts of love, trust. Love and hugs. Margherita ![]() |

If the night brings sweet dreams, then we don't need the reality of day. So well captured in your poem. |

Don't you wish we could pre-program our dreams like a vcr? Like on Mondays, Dream about Saturdays, and lovers, and on Tuesdays, Dream about Saturdays, and lovers, and on Wednesday,,,, well you get the point. Sweet dreams, Sue, Tracey. |
