“Crushed” Diamond hearts crumble Upon the suns crimson rise As hollow eyes turn Upon the empty sheets beside The memories return It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. |

"Diamond hearts crumble" how come I didn't come up with that? The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone. |

~ oh, the ache of this write. ~ oh, the poetic beauty of this write. May your sunsets and sunrises sparkle like diamonds! ~ and not crushed ones! EA |

Yo LoneWolf, This is nicely done. Sometimes memories are all we're left with. They can make good company. Bobby |

LoneWolf - I have to agree, at times a short poem says a whole lot, such as this one... BC |

Those memories can be so painful as this short but excellent poem brings out. Eric |
