Collectively they've become mute, too many storms have resorbed them as winter struck deep, their extremities numbed from affliction, irreversible in the butterfly's greed connected through iced over ponds, the shadows inject, what the roots never read drawn to the west bracing the east once again winds threaten their stature as for me, I refrain from lamenting of loves casualties, my bleeding now sparce on the surface, in lieu of the great lacerations I'd belt out in ballads my writing has reeked of serenity but my spleen stays intact within me. |
