purring puss willows
cat tails, in stead
among other musical reeds
in symphony
songs in a wind stream
stirring
a blue plate special
over home plate
salad forks and
buttered knives
place setting moods
diamonds roughed
needing second silverware
milking the moment
Farmer Brown's cow
over a filling moon
casting chocolate shadows
dishing out in saucers
after Jack and Jill's run
and consequential fall
8 laps to go
into arms await
the celebrated day
with sweetness of
honey's night
curled together
alone
spooning

In rhythms to a rise the days shall follow ... each Yesterday, each Tomorrow. - Ct/05
