To you if you’re concerned: It has recently come to my attention That soon you’ll be leaving I’ll be wondering Why I’m even alive Without you I am nothing There is no happiness Just sadness and anger And other things I hate It’s too soon Too soon I love you I need you Fold me up Make me pocket sized And please Take me with you No...that wouldn't be right My place is here In Hell Until, if my prayers are answered, You come back for me. Fix it Make it all right Put a band-aid on your problems... Just don’t kiss them to make them better Because if you do… You’ll kill me And I don’t want to die Until I’ve told you I love you Fifty million more times You’re my whole world I let you in Let you hold me Because when you did I felt special Now I’m confused. Given the chance Would you love her again? Oh…wait…. You do still. But you love me too? Uh-Huh. I love you more More than anyone ever could. I don’t care what you did in the past It’s not important My dear, I need you More than you’ll ever know I can’t be truly happy without you Selfish I know. I’m scared you won’t come back for me That I’ll be left to die Because without your arms around me Inside me there is no life [This message has been edited by pen&paper (05-13-2009 09:54 PM).] |

Some very sad and intense thoughts here. Though the same story is told in so many different ways by so many different writers it sometimes seems impossible to approach from a new perspective. The main idea I like here is the unconditional willingness to keep the relationship alive. Rex |

Poignant write, exploring the conflict of losing a love you feel you cannot live without. But somehow, many in this situation move forward and learn to accept this lost, and when they least expect it, find a fresh new love step into the empty spaces of the heart. |
