Braiding ribbons
with morning mist
as Dragon Moon is fading,
thoughts to dance with freedom's wish,
siren's open road
is calling
while gardens full of vagabonds
from growing seasons past
content to stay
to yield
to each day's sun,
like lovers never asked,
fertile seeds sprout and bend
runes scribed on sibilant  dreams
to circle
‘round hopes graveyard,
circle ‘round and ‘round again.

If I weren't so hoarse I'd be singing Joni's "Circle Game"...

"and they tell you, take your time, it won't be long now, 'till you drag your feet to slow the circles down..."

You've been missed lovie. And I shall not miss being Cassandra.

The rhythm captured me ... but first, the words.
