Where in nature does man truly belong? he sails across oceans only to reap havoc on the shore. builds his tribes into unstoppable armies hell-bent on taking what jealousy perceives as something to be caged and coveted. If beauty of another’s creation is too special to bear destruction is the standard choice, Rub it out, grind it to dust, make it insignificant no matter how glorious the art or architecture, only then all will be well in the eyes of man. Pee on the post, mark your spot, then they will know you were here. Civilization is a joke created as false hope for the weak and helpless. God a tool to rationalize behavior lower than any life form on this planet. I am ashamed of my origin and wish my ancestors had made different choices. A change in human behavior seems unlikely, it is easier to break the mirror than look at the true source. |

So much truth in this piece. Too late for mirrors, they were smashed to pieces by a freak of evolution, that is anti-nature mankind. Thanks for this poem, I feel less alone. |

Yo Zaxby, You're right, self hatred really sucks. There is nothing wrong with money. Money is innocent of all human failings. The problem is in human selfishness and bigotry. Bobby |
