Rest your weary head down upon my lap Forget for a time all the cares away Let me be your guide, your comforting map, To the place where your soul will stay The moon and stars have nothing on you There is something about the wavelength shared Which makes a light shine upon all you do And sets yourself apart from all compare Time and distance shall do their best to stay The thoughts that travel from mind to mind Forget for awhile travails of today And let us now leave all of this behind I shall hold you up, never to touch ground To help you smile and lay your burden down |

CG, this is so warm, caring, and comforting. Your words really spoke to me ~ especially at this time when I am in need of them. Burdens in life can become quite heavy at times. With someone like you as a friend, I'm sure it would help lessen the load on their shoulders. EA |

ChalmetteGuy - After confronting the travails of the day, I read this and started to feel a lot better. Crafted with clarity and insight. Thanks for writing it. Namyh |
