  In Village and Wilderness

A billowing midnight mist
of regretful shades
and smoky sorrows
on this restless eve,
sweeps the streets and
back-alley consciences
  clean…
empty vessels of
tomorrow’s absurdities.

A boundless tide of
‘Deep-Time’ shadows
and purest moonlight
on this tranquil night,
washes mountain paths
and forest-spirits
   clear…
perfect chalices of
the dawn and Nature’s
  simple purposes.

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

I don't think nature makes junk anywhere.

Dear Bruce the Bard, you are an amazing poet.
Books of your poems should be in bookstores around the world!!!

I agree with Linda, Bruce. The world is sorely in need of your wisdom and beautiful words. Think of all those who could read your books and throw away their
tranquilizers.

Wonderfully soothing, indeed, dear Bruce!

You listen so well with your heart.

There is nothing greater than poetry that makes you fall in love with it all over again.

Here's to you and your talent, Bruce.
