Bones and his beautiful Griselda
have three lovely kids.

Two beautiful little girls
age five and six,
and a handsome son
of only one.

They decide they need
a little boy to go
with their only son.

They decide on a little guy
that’s half white,
and half black.

He’s two years old,
just the right age
to be a big brother
for their natural born son.

They notice some marks
on their new son’s
arms and legs.

The social worker
says they are most likely
cigarette burns
from one of the foster parents
the kids been with.

Bones is left to think about
some of his own cruel scars.

That makes for
a strong bond
between Bones
and his new son.

Bobby

Thanks dear Helen,

What you say is true.  What's nice is that you can't see the scars on the inside.

Hey, Helen was my mothers name.  She was a nice lady.

That was a wonderful gesture, dear Bobby! It shows that your experience of life, tough as it was, had refined your sensitivity towards those in similar circumstances.

Beautiful slice of true humanity.

Love,
Margherita

That makes for
a strong bond
between Bones
and his new son.

Bones will give his son a chance to leave the cruelties behind and make new, good memories... for both of them. *S*

Thanks Prasad,

It happened about 40 years ago.  My adoped son and I are still very close, and always have been.
