day's fading light casts muted colors onto bare walls amber sunlight beams stream through open curtains, highlighting frail thoughts my body yields to the rhythmic flow of meditation's mindful moments, releasing tension from coiled muscles seeking adjustment from within to balance the day's chaotic input, I embrace the afterglow of each life moment |

Kacy, though the colours be muted, the words are BRILLIANT! Thank you for sharing that gorgeous meditative moment. I am soaking it up and will be immersing myself in it from time to time. ![]() Good morning, dear poetess! Love, Linda ![]() |

Wow, this is splendid, how you've captured the personal, internal waves of day's end, and blended them so softly with your environment. I especially love how you've worded this: amber sunlight beams stream through open curtains, highlighting frail thoughts Exceptional! And a keeper! |

I wish I could relax like this. Such beautiful phrasing in every line, and I love the ending, "I embrace the afterglow of each life moment" Brilliant, Midnite. |

Hi Midnitesun, Indeed a wonderful way to start off a new day, meditation, yoga. Some heart pumping cardio will do wonders too. ![]() “Seeking adjustment from within to balance the day's chaotic input, I embrace the afterglow of each life moment” love these lines very much. ![]() "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

Great opening image that sets the scene for meditation, and the words actually settled this reader. Perhaps I should read you more, and drink less end-of-the day wine. Splendid. |

Yo dear Kacy, You have some good ideas here for help in going to sleep at night. I’ve never tried, or even thought of meditation. That would be something new for me. Love Bobby |

Diana, glad that you enjoyed this muted moment. Seraphim, I'm delighted it had that effect on you. Arctic, smiling, thank you! Osprey, nothing wrong with a fine glass of wine, before or after a meditation moment. Bobby, it has the effect of centering one's thoughts, and leaving one calm and refreshed. |

Very nice description I use to meditate in the early seventies, but only in the mornings. It helped me to face my day. |

I would concur with the 'hi-lighting' of: "amber sunlight beams stream through open curtains, highlighting frail thoughts" ... as being ABSOLUTELY most fine indeed! long-sustained applause for this special meditative 'penning' !! |

...you have made this so easy to see because you have painted with clarity in the words you have chosen...like these: "amber sunlight beams stream through open curtains, highlighting frail thoughts" ...I'm there...and it seems like a nice place to be... |
