Bones and the cow’s two boys have been sniffing around a warehouse in the hood. One dark winter night they have it pretty well doped out. They make their move. Bones is the skinniest, so he’s hoisted up to a transom, Bones drops through. Then he opens the door for the other two from the inside. The boys look for anything of value that they can get some money for. Bones sees an old stuffed Raccoon, and he falls in love with it. Bones takes it home, and takes it to bed with him. Next morning Mom goes into his room to wake him up, and sees the Raccoon beside Bones. “Bones, what’s that thing you got in bed with you?” “It’s a wild animal Mom.” Bobby |

I think those boys are leading Bones astray Bobby, I have heard it said that you are judged by the company you keep so I think you had better have a good talk to Bones. Lindsay |

Thanks LindsayP, Honestly, I've tried to talk to Bones about that. It does no good. It's just as if I'm talking to my self--if you know what I mean. Bobby |

Thanks Critical mass, No, this was in Bones early days. He haden't developed an interest in beavers yet. It's only a matter of time though. Bobby |

Thanks dear Ida, You are very correct. I've worked all over the world, and I've always found the kids to be the same everywhere. Love Bobby |

Bobby you have this way of putting some endearing meaning into a rough childhood. One can't be harsh all the time. Great stuff! Eric |

Yo Bobby, The good part of the story was it was a stuffed Raccoon. The bad one is he’s not going to sell it for money. Bones be aware of those boys. ![]() "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

Thanks Eric, I'm pleased this poem worked for you. Bones always did take good care of his pet stuffed Raccoon. He still has it after many years. Bobby |

Thanks Prasad, For the good advice for Bones. Bones was very aware of the Cow's boys, and he always did his best to get them into trouble. Bobby |

Bobby, You remind me of my kids, I had four boys, one morning I opened their bed room door and a snake met me. Thanks for the fun reminder. You always make me smile. Billie C. |

Thanks dear Billie C., I'm very happy that my stories make you smile. This is based on one of my oldest boy's "finds" from many years ago. He's since reformed real well. Love Bobby |
