There is no eye contact here.

Am I a bad person?
What did I do to deserve this mess?
In a loveless marriage now
void of any happiness.

How do I fix it?
How do I feel?
When nothing is there
and nothing's real?

There is no eye contact here.

No touch of love,
resentment breeds.
Hatred feeds
on my maternal needs.

I don't love at all.
No more, my friend.
Don't want to live this way.
I'm surely at the end.

There's nothing left in my eyes.

I forgot who told me this, but I'll share it.

(It was probably one of these smart ass college kids I have hanging around..)

But I was informed that the pupils of the eyes are dark because it is a lens, which allows one to see inside the skull. Which, if the skull is intact, would be pretty dark, right?

I have no idea if that's true or not, but I tried to not take it personally.

I wish you much love and luck, dixiedear.

And maybe, just maybe, what you've got in your life is the same as what I've got on my front lawn...a blank slate.

Give it a chance.

Infatuation is an addictive annual.

Plant perennials and nurture them.
