Thy harm caused unwitting though more I bear
Each time thy gaze fancies to pass my way
A moment that held us secretly shared
As this prevents me from having my say
Do unto thyself the command does go
Nothing more true of words to live for love
Yet not a fee shall ever have its hold
Over thoughts of the one truly dreamed of
Not an action of thy hand nor thy mouth
Inflicted hurt upon this body mine
A pain such as never before allowed
One that transcends physical space and time

I accept the condition I myself caused
For thou hast looked beyond these fatal flaws

A shakespearean taste to this... glowing coals and introspection.  Well written.

I find myself shaking my head that this doesn't have dozens of responses... I peeked at it last week and it moved me to tears... I read it again today with the same result. It's melancholy magnificently written... and it's going into my library. *S*
