 " Butterflies " I saw my first spring butterfly today With perfect grace, it made it's way I watched it fight! the air current to fly And with such beauty, it caught my eye Electric yellow, green, and blue To leave this memory everywhere it flew Brightened up the green hedges below, It gave me such pleasure but it will never know. So harmless... so peaceful... born to please It's journey so short; it touched me with ease To take nothing from life, It just wants to fly This beautiful life never lasts! no one knows why Oh look another! a red one this time Flicking it's wings like the other...in rhythm, Together they journey, where is it they go ?
