I thought I heard, I thought I said,
I thought I heard a word I read,
I think a thought, I say a word,
I think my thoughts in words I've heard,
To think a thought without a word,
That thought, it simply goes unheard,
The word, the sound, the language spoken,
Is thought processes unawoken,
Static thought from language written,
Pre-fab culture for the children,
The word was there from the beginning,
The ancients knew, they taught in symbols,
Flesh from word, decoded mind,
A logic system old as time,
All the thoughts fall into line,
A process used in lieu of might,
Uncouple thought from sounds we utter,
Awaken minds and thought will flourish,
To think one thought without a word,
I think that thought would be superb,
I think a thought, I say a word,
I thought this thought in words I've heard.

I love the flow of this one, it's got me skipping.  The title brought me in, and the poem just kept coming right along.  Very nicely done.  I enjoyed it.

very well put together.  I found this poem to be rather enjoyable, so much I had to read it about four times.  Very nice work.
