The Queen's got a brand new I-pod!
A glorious event!
Now she can rock to all the tunes
Of Queen and Fiddy Cent!

When riding in a cavalcade
Forget the rowdy crowd.
The Queen can touch the volume switch
And make that sucker loud!

Then, when she's waving to the folks
That line the royal street
They'll never know she's really groovin'
To a Mersey beat!

Obama showed such brilliance
By giving her this perk.
Much better than the DVD's
To Brown that didn't work.

I'm sure he gave her one that had
At least a dozen gigs.
Let's hope he didn't load them up
With things like Irish jigs!

The Queen's got a brand new I-pod!
Of all the other things
That one would think appropriate
To give to kings and queens..

She got a brand new I-Pod.
There's nothing more to say.
A gift befitting royalty

Yo Balladeer,

This is a great little poem.

Thanks for the tip.  I have to get me one of those puppies.

Cute poem, Balladeer. I think the queen should read it.

Yes Balladeer that is one that should be

sent to the Queen. Very cleverly constucted.
Well done my friend, a delight to read.

Our Queen is certainly being updated that is for sure.  She is a pretty technical savvy kind of gal anyway.  She has a website now, and actually oversees it.

Sea, I couldn't live without my ipod - wherever I go, it goes.  Also my Nike chip in my shoe is synced to my ipod, so I love that thing!  Check them out they are awesome!

Michael, great poem I wish you would send it to Her Majesty

Balladeer,
Really enjoyed your exploration of  what the Queen Mums' favorites might be, lol.
I'm betting she's got a little Daft Punk
on there too.

You know she is so happy
She can really "make the scene"
Playing her favorite melody,
Called God Save The Queen.

I wonder if what she did with the one that Bush gave her.

Oh well, two are nice.  One for each ear.

She's stylin' now.

A great escape those i-pods!
What a delightful gift,
music to appease cold gods
and give the queen a lift.

As she's riding queenly style
midst her Majesty's brigade,
we'll wonder if her Royal Smile
is Ballad born, or simply music made.

*smile*

I don't have one either.

And I'm gonna play Glen Miller until the family buys me one out of self-defense.

(I refuse to cook without music.)

y'think they can add that to the defense budget?

I think they should.

Justin Case? (Um, I'm not actually him. )

and right now? I've got that annoying Frankie Lymon playing...*chuckle*

Now.

BE WELL, yes? yes!
