Fear of the door |

He hears distant shouts, like words muffled through a string tied between tin cans. "Do it man, Shoot the lock. I'm right behind you." Pressed hard against the bricks of Falujah he prays to Kasal, curses the lock, tries to will himself through the door. His body sticks to the brick. |

angellea SEA unboundpoetess Thank you for the replies. I wrote this one day when my son made the comment that sometimes you just have to pray that Kasal shows up. Then he explained the whole thing to me. |

Thanks for the reply My son was in falujah when this happened. He said "That guy is like a God over here." He said if you are in trouble, just pray that Kasal shows up. Then he told me about how nerve racking it was going door to door. I put the two together and came up with this. |
