See, the director is at hand! The music's about to start! The music's placed on stand while player's mind the art And so the piece begins! Beauty caresses the ears The world seems to sing, a song that stretches years O, Hear the violins play and hear the cellos mourn! They steal my mind away away from all that's torn! O, hear the harp sing! and listen, the flutes cry It's as if pain's never been, As if light never dies But oh, the curtain falls and the violin's song stops The crowd stands tall, applauds but still the music's sought Ah, it can't be helped!; when the song is no more the world's weight is felt and heavy grows the soul. |

Luckily there's always a new composer on the horizon just as there's always another poet with a fresh point of view. Ida [This message has been edited by Marchmadness (03-27-2009 02:27 AM).] |
