Another morning waking up
on the couch to the TV,
while he sleeps till noon or more,
no work to do, no people to see.

Another afternoon sitting
watching the grass grow,
because we have no gas
to get to where we need to go.

Another night of watching
wrestling and superhero shows,
life to him has always been
whatever happens, that's the way it goes.

Life is slipping away, day by day,
as I stand sadly at the door,
and I plan my break as I quietly say
"I won't live like this anymore".

Yo Passing shadows,

That's the life many people live.  It's also the life many people don't live.  The choice is entirely up to the individual.

thanks James

I sure don't want to be is this same way 5 years from now and after so many days, one begins to think different about another "same" day gone by

life is too short

A good read. Very strong thoughts. Just remember we have to live with the choices we make and only you can decide what is good for you.

This hits close to home,  I was in a bad marraige and finaly said, "That's it, I'm done"   I gathered my things and left.
It was the best thing for me.
I am so much happier now.

Make choices that you can "LIVE" with.
TO not make a choice, may be what you "HAVE TO" live with.

Good luck,   Love Tracey.
