A tree stands alone on a hill
as a beacon of light
drawing man toward
its silent flame.

Man shall not deny the will
of the fire at night
for in darkness it
brings comfort.

Aflame, the tree lives still,
and it does not fight
the flame which
burns it so.

It shall no cease burning till
man, by flame's might,
is turned to ash and
burnt alive.

Yo Reborn_Phoenix,

In your last strophe it would make more sense to say:

"Is turned (to) ash and"
