This was my first poem for February.  I've been trying to write at least 2 new poems every month this year, and so far I've accomplished that!  Wish me luck, as there's still quite a long way to go.

"Untamed"

This world is not an easy place to live
It tears at our resolve until we give
Assailing broken hearts and jaded minds
Devouring whomever it may find

Unmerciful and fierce, without remorse
As mindlessly it runs its vicious course
Blind to those who leap from out its way
And crushing all who vainly try to stay

Yet I am forced to wonder, who’s to blame?
So many times, it seems, we’ve tried to tame
This world which never was and ne’er could be
A force of Time and nature, ever free

Are we a fallen people, meant for naught
So lost within this world we think we’ve “caught”?
This timeless thing we’ve worked so hard to bend
Will surely be our downfall in the end…

Yo Arius Miura de Galdri,

This world will never be tamed.  Don't look for that to happen.  There's that nasty free will thingy that can't be dealt with, thank heavens.

Arius Miura de Galdri - it's crazy out there for sure, but stay strong, one can do well even if it is...

Good poem from a thinking author.
Certainly a question all have asked one time or another.

It's amazing, the english language. We can refer to the world as a globe or as the people on it.

I really enjoyed the questioning nature of this piece.

A thought provoking write. When we attempt to bend the world to force it to comply with our greedy wants, there will likely be a negative consequence we neither anticipate nor can undo.
Thanks for a mindful write.
