Are humans the only life form possessing soul essence? See great thunder clouds erasing a blue sky feel the pressure of the thunder clap; rain flowing, deep and free now cascading from faraway cliffs and a sunset painting rainbows across green hills and freshly ploughed fields Over the aeons, waters from the skies have polished beds of precious stones, quenched a forest's deep eternal thirst, left teardrops dangling in fields of glistening flowers who, in gratitude, gently turn their faces towards the rising sun in June... The scientist would want a definition of ‘soul’ and its physical location and laugh at the fools who believe in spirit – but let me say this: where does he find the place in my heart I reserve for love? the feelings engendered by Earth’s beauty? Perhaps a better word for energy would be soul essence or ‘force’ or an even better one would simply be love |

Humans are certainly not the only creatures to love. So if that's the soul, then, nope. Lovely view of the storm. I really like the scene you painted. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

~ and also with you! I have been able to see the auras of people, plants, and animals since I was a little girl. I used to think that that was the norm! It's an amazing gift ~ but it can also be rather distracting at times! as a geologist, natural philosopher, and 'Universalist' ... I just gotta love this 'write'!: "Over the aeons, waters from the skies have polished beds of precious stones, quenched a forest's deep eternal thirst, left teardrops dangling in fields of glistening flowers who, in gratitude, gently turn their faces towards the rising sun in June..." well done! ... much (sustained) applause!! |

WindWalker, Your generalization about scientists is erroneous, as are many generalizations. Bobby |
