"You, There"

Rainy day thoughts
to comfort the mind
with the hope of tomorrow
knowing its find
is the rise of the sun
and once full of moon,
in pleasure from seeking
the nearness of soon.

Too soon is of never
when never can wait.
Contentment the proof of
a "togetherness state"
when each thought is of comfort
to a rainy day mind,
with the hope of tomorrow
and a "You, There" in find.

for "You"

M

Oh thank you Maureen.
I appreciate that.

Should I wear a suit and tie or is this going to be casual?

You've got me all excited now. No one has ever written a poem just for me before and this is such a good one.

Ah, the mood, I'll warm up your rainy day thoughts.

Love ya kid!

Beautiful Maureen. It would be nice to find someone there in each of our tomorrows, wouldn't it. I have thought about that, quite often.

Maureen - perhaps if I wear a tie also, and the black leather jacket...

yes,  "the worst 'death' is likely the
           surrender of all 'hope'!"

Applause for this 'penning!'

Thank you, Linda, it was a rainy day on Sunday and I was in a "thoughtful" mood.
And yes, E's comment was cute.

Kacy, a "smile-piece" was needed. Thank you.

Sue, "It would be nice to find someone there in each of our tomorrows, wouldn't it.". I agree but friendships are just as nice and important.

Lori, have missed you and am glad to see you posting again. You are thought of often.

suthern,Thank you. Hope your world has settled down. Wishing you a  happier year.

Bill, well any attire would do for you Just bring that guitar and your voice, too.

Bruce,"the worst 'death' is likely the
surrender of all 'hope'!" ...I agree even if some days the hope wanes a bit.

Thanks all!

"You, there" says it all and it can be just the most comforting thought for our melancholic rainy days.

This is extremely captivating, dear Maureen.

Thank you, M... It's a lot better. *S* I'm still a bit lost... and shudder to think hurricane season is approaching once again... but live goes on and I march along... even if I never quite get the rhythm. *S* {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
