Bones has always been good with his mitts. In the hood he’s known as a first class brawler. Wawa talks him into going with him down to the Front Street Gym, on East Clearfield Street. Don’t dare ask anyone why the Front Street Gym is on East Clearfield Street. Mom says it’s okay with her. She’s thinking it will keep Bones out of her hair. Bones is going to be a boxer. Here’s the URL for the Front Street Gym. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0aevdAwUZ8 Bobby |

I hope bones gets as much good out of boxing as I have. Though it seems a tough world to the uninitiate, it is by far the most welcoming one I've ever stepped into. I miss those days. Mark |

Thanks Mark, I'm sure Bones will love boxing. Like you, I always did when I was a kid. It keeps you out of trouble. Bobby |

I'm glad Bones it taking up boxing. Boxing, or any combat sport, is extremely fun and poetic. I've been involved with BJJ, MMA, and wrestling for five years. It's been a tough journey, but a fun twisted one. |

I watched the entire YouTube video. I was fascinated by those two boys. They are very focused, determined ~ and especially nice! ~ even though they are tigers in the ring! It's better for kids to be fighting in the ring rather than on the street! That Bones is full of surprises! I enjoyed both the poem and the video! Linda |

Thanks dear Linda, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video and the poem. Our kids are very fine people, and they are fortunate to have a facility like the Front Street Gym. It's right above a beer distributor. Sometimes the kids will work down there. It's a shame what some of our neighborhood kids like Bones have to do just to stay alive. Bones' footwork is coming so is his hook, jab, weaving, feinting, counterpunching, and uppercuts. Bones starts off as a tomato can in with the pros but he's determined like he is in all of his life struggles. He is eventually gonna win some tough matches. I can just imagine it. GO BONES GO!!! Sorry Bobby I'm not trying to steal your story, I just got carried away. Eric |

Thanks Eric, Hey, no problem. I'm happy to see you get into the Bones story. Bones will be a good boxer, like many of the kids here in the hood. I won't tell Bones you called him a Tomato Can. Bobby |

Thanks Eric, I understand completely. No one wants to be involved in one of Bones haymakers. Bobby |
