I will be always wondering
Until the day that I die
Why you had left in silence
Yet never said goodbye

Friends for all those years
I began to feel secure
Silent with no explanation
Its what I had to endure

Knowing I will never forget
Those years we shared
I trusted you with my heart

Still you left an empty void

Hope, people have reasons for not saying goodbye. It's hard but it's something that needs to be accepted and left behind. It's not healthy to be stuck in the past.

Leaves a big hole in your life.
I like how you subtly describe the relationship in the body of this poem.
You gave more than you received but seemed content with the arrangement thinking you were being considered the same.
Communication is a wonderful thing when it's used properly isn't it?
