Stinging insects search for pollen in the gleam.
Flickering light bounces from her delicate face.

Hazel eyes pierce the raging deity of the sea.
Gaze at vicious waves smacking at soft sand.

She chaotically dances with bassoons in the brain.
Trumpets and flutes steam to her flexible routine.

The whistling wind grasps tightly to her hips
as she demonstrates the rituals of the Gods.

Pines and oaks shake their heads in unison.
Blades of the highlands drip with rhythm.

A red hawk screeches in the burning skyline.
A zoo of red ants march to their built nest.

Carnivorous canines howl hauntingly.
She sways with seamless gestures.

Leaves venture past jagged mountains
to faraway meadows.

A blanket of yellow and white dandelions
melts into the bright green surface.

Clouds drift into the imagination
Twisting intertwined reality

Nothing surrounds this creating entity
But forgotten warmth of the shallow sea

Yo Newpoet,

This is absolutely beautiful work.  I also got a kick out of those red ants, and carnivorous canines.

Don't be despondent that so few commented on this lovely poem, people here tend to be a little clannish.

I'd call you dear, and say I loved you, but I haven't figured out yet if you're a boy or a girl.

This really triggers a multitude of images,  spilling thoughts and emotions. Loved this repertoire, filled with abundant movement, color and sound.

Newpoet: I enjoyed this panorama very much.
I like how you worded this:
"Leaves venture past jagged mountains
to faraway meadows."
I've noticed them skittering about as if they feel out of place with the approach of spring.  Nice work!

I enjoy reading poems on Nature. This one offered a panoply of 'nature'al delights!

Thank you! I need to get out more! Now that Spring is in the air, I'll be out there enjoying some of the 'wonder'ful things of which you have so beautifully penned!

Love & Nature's Light,

Yes, what everyone else said!
You came up with some great visuals.
I'm sure you made Mother Nature proud!
