Being a good Catholic boy,
Bones always wears
his Miraculous Medal.

It helps him survive
his less pleasant encounters
with his reality.

“O Mary,
conceived without sin,
pray for us
who have recourse to thee.”

Bobby

Bones is growing on me.

I confess it took some time, but there is a certain simple complex art to what you are doing with this series.

Called me intrigued. I like this one especially.

Yep, grew on me too.
Sometimes life is complex enough as it is.
The Bones saga brings out compasssion in the reader and also reminds one how lucky they are in their own situation.
Good stand up well presented writing!

Eric

PS It's too bad some here post three to five poems at a time and never comment on others. They need to observe the reality of this series and many others expressing love here to realize they're not the only people in the world. However, some are so self centered they'll never resolve their own selfish attention issues.

Take Care

Thanks Eric,

For the kind words on this series.  I'm pleased that the Bones poems work that way for you.

Bones was/is a good guy.  One's dead and the other is doing fine.

I think some people are just shy.  I always try to comment on others work.

I agree Bobby but how does being shy justify posting three to five poems at once?

I like the way you think though.

However, post one poem, be shy and that's fine. I hardly think a shy person posts up to five poems at once at least it doesn't seem to make sense to me.

I have never been a shy person so maybe that's where I lack insight and understanding.....LOL!

Take care

Eric

Those prayers bring comfort in otherwise unbearable circumstances, I agree, dear Bobby.

Love,
Margherita

ps to the topic started by dear Eric: I fear it is a great lack of sensitivity, not shyness ... sometimes it's enough to gently nudge, in order to make them aware of their self-centeredness.

Thanks dear Margherita,

Yes, what you say is true.  That is what is written in fine print on all the Miraculous Medals.
