As appendage to its native green forlorn, it sinks almost passively within the earth's possession in schism's shift the winds of west play both requiem and liberator to its lanky stemmed oppression. [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (01-06-2009 09:48 PM).] |

"the winds of west play both requiem and liberator" ...neat line...in a well-written and descriptive poem...think I'll go back and read it again...and again |

Oh, the poor little daisy. Now I'm shivering. Goddess, you put me in her skin with your incredible writing! Her life was brief ~ but the memory of her lives on through the beauty of your words. Linda |

..."it sinks almost passively within the earth's possession"... I found this tidbit staggering. Mich, you have such a refreshing paintbox of expressions! |

This is a beautiful poem. The daisy is not so different from us, when you think about it. Ida |
