He tells her of his desire And his deepest thoughts of love All the pleasures of the fire A warm place he tends to dream of She listens ever so patiently Keeping her thoughts to herself As he lays himself out vulnerably At a risk to his mental health He pours out thought after thought The chain has been lifted No more suppression to be fought As the words come gifted She knows now the time draws near When she shall know full well What it means to have someone dear To share in the soul’s inner spell He speaks of the cruel vagaries of chance Fate that can be together defeated After the truth in circles was firmly danced The friction of passion slowly heated She takes him under wings of love The concept of time defaced Flown like the flight of the dove To drown within his warm place |

Well; there's a pretty little thing. Soft, gentle as raindrops, and not a word wasted. Nice one! |

The joining of souls, first, makes the joining of flesh, that much sweeter. A love poem after my own heart. To love and loving! EA |

you describe it precisely , a perfect choice of words, I could not have said it better... I like being in a warm place, upon a cloud, in a sacred love nest, fluffy bed, enclosed in loving arms, theres no other place to be... I know where you are coming from on this! ~hugs~ARH |
