this velvet morrow's dawning
does it bring but the arrows
unstrung to be plucked then
as a warriors note knotting
when would fly the cupid's winding

or but a rose by windows glances
does it smile her eyes in mist
and would she know then the names
of forest's apostled from the budding red
would she whisper them to her richard's ear

as for the keeper of her quiet stones
where castle dreams have kept her charms
held in harmless capture while a joker seeks
from his own minded jaunty persuasion
just the brook of her maiden's head to famish

this velvet morrow's dawning

of a warrior's note then am I noted
for winding the winds of cupid's wing

affixed to heart as perhaps a lover's laughter

"Stoichiometric" in c minor ... wow the word actually exists and it sounds good in c minor.

This might be studied one day as a master example of new millenium poetry.

I will have to come back to read it again, as it exercises this magnetic effect on me.
