I just sit . . . in this dark . . . and wait . . . until dawn there is no one here . . . not even me |

... but here I am reading you and thus you ARE. Gosh, dear Krawdad, your words really convey a state of being we sometimes experience. Kind of being out of ourselves. Nights can be quite long! Good morning Krawdad! Love, Margherita |

I felt every non-breath of your poem, Krawdad. I have felt like that before too, but in my case, it has been fear (brought on by crimes that I have been victim to), especially when the electricity goes off in a storm, or load-shedding. Owl |

Been there. Done that. However, I doubt that I could have ever have shared that as intimately, effectively ~ and as succinctly ~ as you have just done. Giving you a warm, understanding hug, EA |

You know - I felt this way lately myself. Almost invisible. Well done sir. |

Almost every night I'm awake at 2-3AM, sitting in the dark 'meditating' the moment. This is when my spirit sometimes floats away into space, leaving me like an empty seashell. You've captured that moment well, poet Krawdad. |
