![]() Wells of pity burrow deep, pity not this heart of want, skin grows cold, lack of warmth, as mister loneliness creeps in, Into sorrows bed I crawl, woe is me, woe is me, I have been to this masquerade, once before, I danced, The music, the melody, so alluring, drawing me, The joy, the laughter, Then removes the mask. The Cinderella dream, now awakens to reality, more than a glass slipper, Times clock strikes, Running from life, Love ever after, will I ever find his soul? not a kiss, Off into the sunset I ride, direction of the unknown, searching for his castle, to cross the drawbridge, into his heart... ![]() [This message has been edited by A Romantic Heart (05-30-2009 10:46 AM).] |

There's no drawbridge or portcullis into my heart, just an open bridge and gate, that I will walk you through, arm in arm. I love you. |
