Lay softly beside me with breathless sighs Our aftermath, ecstatic cries, Shadow sun spins over our entwinement Love's tryst over your confinement. Taste my blood and so drink of ecstasy Eros' wine, swallow and be free, Call my name, I'll be forever bound here For you, your flesh I will now sear. Shapeless dust of us in our lust drenched bed, Shameless lust, heed the words I've said: The shadow sun blesses our lustful days Of deeds done under ebon rays. Yeah, I know it's a bit dark, but I couldn't quite justify a place in the dark forums. Better that my friends in open get to know a darker side of me, or at least that's what I think. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |

I enjoy writing "Dark" poetry once in awhile, myself! It's rather cathartic! lol I can't always be sunshine and lollipops! lol Into every life some lust must fall ~ or is that "dust"?!? Your pen dripped some mighty impassioned red ink! It is such a pleasure to be reading your poetry again! Warm hug, Linda |
