You give my feet the weight of wings This heart a beat that happy sings My garden growth of beauties see And mind a view of what could be You make me think of lovely days Of sleep in peace and dreaming ways Your gentle touch and giving smile Does linger long and stays a while You make me ponder many things The joys I see while day still brings You turn a key that sets me free Then lay upon my memory You’re as the flower of a rose So beauty filled as more it grows With scent so sweet you fill the air And share you fragrance everywhere You are that jewel of destiny A treasure rare that’s called to me My vision hope when days are grey You take my heart, then fade away |
