something about friendship and how it rolls off your lips like a bubblegum bubbles playing waiting to be bitten and popped and I guess you read my eyes on the love tag on your shirt since you put it where you did knowing I would be looking there you talked about the other men around and how they always came up short when the length of stay mattered more than the length of hungry did but then you looked up into my eyes and you said something under your breath and walked a bit faster as if to get away in case some stranger threw maybe water from a bucket that never would run dry ________________ daark (forbidden) |
