Photo By Ethel_GG ~*~ As down the path of life we walk Our mark upon this world making Our steps may not be what we always want Some make dreams, others our heart breaking * But when the end of life comes about And we have no more breath to take The impression we have made upon this world Is left there where nothing can break * Some of our loved ones and friends we meet Will know us from the inside out Others will know only what we want them to Not really what we are all about * But if upon this earth we happen to meet Someone we allow inside our heart Someone with whom we share all ourselves A someone we hope will never ever part * We should consider ourselves truly blessed This person if we have ever found Because we know that with someone in our life Our inner beings and hearts have truly been bound ~*~ |

It is easy to read your words and know your heart just by the way you see and understand things and this shows just how wonderful a heart you have. Nice to read your words again and I for one understand how easy it is for life to take us away for so long. Enjoyed this piece very much. |

I haven't read your work for a long time. However, I have been away for a while. I like this.. "But if upon this earth we happen to meet Someone we allow inside our heart Someone with whom we share all ourselves A someone we hope will never ever part * We should consider ourselves truly blessed This person if we have ever found Because we know that with someone in our life Our inner beings and hearts have truly been bound" Too true and so very nicely expressed! Ethel Mae!!! My gosh, girl, don't be such a stranger! You and your poetry sure have been missed by yours truly!!! ~ and this lovely poem is a perfect illustration as to why! "Some of our loved ones and friends we meet Will know us from the inside out Others will know only what we want them to Not really what we are all about" ~ Well, m'dear, I personally like what I've learned about your insides through reading your poetry over the years! Giving you a humongous hug! ~ and a smiley face, Linda Lou |
