Tell me lies that you love me Tell me lies that you hate me Tell me lies that you miss me Tell me lies when you kiss me I’ll never question you. I’ll never find someone so true. I love you through and through. Tell me lies that comfort Tell me lies that protect Tell me lies that subvert Tell me lies when you neglect I’ll believe in you. I know you’ll be you. Forever finding love anew Tell me lies that you’re working Tell me lies that you’re sleeping Tell me lies that you’re shopping Tell me lies when you’re scheming I’ll be brave for you. I know you will too As my heart is breaking into two I told me lies when I was restless I told me lies when I was fearless I told me lies when I was faithless I told me lies when I was speechless It’s all been true twisted and divine our love's askew truth will never shine as bright as you. |
