Beneath ancient skies we live And give birth to so many more Who will, like us and everyone who lived before us Look up and wonder Will they wonder glorious things or will they look in fearful anticipation Will they consider days of old And how every person before them impacted this time that is now theirs This time designated for them to thrive Or will they just live Driven to bring the necessary change For the ones they give birth to |
