Of all the gifts we give our friends, There is no greater than yours to me, You’ve spent your time in my behalf, You’ve helped me now to see. You’ve shared with me your happy days, You’ve shared your problems, too, And in those times with no way out, You’ve helped to get me through. You’ve understood my problems, You’ve helped me find my way, You have guided me and cared for me, You've always known what to say. We’ll wish you now the best of luck, We’ll cry because you’re gone, We’ll remember you forevermore, And send you to the new day’s dawn. |
