Okay, just to let you know, I'm really not feeling like this...I don't really know why I wrote it..sometimes you just do, I think. But anyway, Tell me what you think.

Love is broken by crystalized winds of ice,
Emotion's winter has set in and we pay the price.
Hearts like stone pound holes within our chests,
And upon innocent ground a crimson flood rests.

Fallen angels crawl with slithering demons below,
Rejection's pain waters barren soil in a torrent flow.
Poisoned daggers slice into softened, tender flesh,
The barrier of nightmare and reality is dangerously meshed.

Screams of intolerance echo heavily in deeply scarred minds,
Repeatedly beaten on by the cruel fists of slowly creeping time.
Engulfing one's soul with illusions of dark, slightly ruby stained,
Withdrawing the evil within us all, this emotion we call pain.

Alwye, my friend, have you posted this piece in Open as well? This slice of life is well written (of course) and also perfectly true.
