I want people to wonder about me, And try to get to know me more. I want people not to judge me. Because that makes my heart sore. I want a loving family. Who will give me more than just a home. I want to be around my friends. And sometimes, be all alone. I want to be able to collect my thoughts, And be successful before I die. I want my friends to trust me, And to know that I don’t lie. I want to be able to recognize my mistakes, And hopefully learn from them. I want people to see me for me, And not what they hear from their friends. I want people to like me, But not because I change myself, I want them to look deep inside my soul, And my parents to realize I am more important than their wealth. I want to be famous, And be able to keep my life free, I want to help others, But most of all, I want to be me. [This message has been edited by rcarnell (edited 08-11-99).] |
