I really have not been feeling well I know I'll be coming home soon But before I leave you all Would you lead me to my room? Lie me on my bed Kiss me one last time No, baby please don't cry, Mommy will be fine. I can already smell the roses And see the big blue sky Mommy's feeling better now She's not afraid to die. It's not so scary after all Just look into my eyes The fear has left my body My soul is beginning to rise... Mommy will be just okay Baby, don't you cry I will always be watching over you I will always be by your side. If you ever need me Just call for me, I'll be near Mommy's always with you No matter where you are, I'm here. ------------------ *})i({*Ash*})i({* |

Another great one. This poem captures the feeling of death yet helps you to see that they are leaving to a better place. I hope that peeps who are in this situation somehow find this poem cause I think that its help ease their pain. |

I loved it. Death is a very beautiful thing. Death means going home to my Father in heaven. I am truely not afrid to die. I love your poems! Keep on writing! ------------------ ^i^ ~ashley~ ^i^ |

thanks for the compliments! it was written for my aunt dianne who has been very sick lately, for the past couple years. one day she was feeling so badly that she just lay on the floor, almost gone, already smelling the roses. thank god that she is still with us, i love her. but i know that once she comes home, all the pain will be gone and she won't have to hurt anymore. ------------------ *})i({*Ash*})i({* |

I think that your poem captured the other sid of death. The short, sweet side that symbolisis (sorry, bad spelling day)a new beginning. ------------------ mARiA |
