As my hat slowly glides down from the air My regret is all that I have to bare I have awaited this day for so long some how i just knew that something would go wrong The expression on your face Shows a love that I could never embrase As I turned to walk away I heard a truely beautiful voice say It was I who you once loved but you can only be a friend For if it was anything more we may have sinned As these words came out I fell to my knees in shame For my love for you is but all I have to blame ------------------ I say to all who listens, we'll never win!! |
