best friends...or so we thought

I look upon our friendship from the past,
And how we thought it would forever last.
We thought we would stick together like glue
Salt with pepper, me with you.
Then some girl split us apart.
And that also split my heart.
Without you, its like my left without my right.
Morning without its night.
Now we're back together.
(Hopefully)Janine and Megan forever.
I know I do it too..
But I've realized now all I've got is you.
I've noticed now there's no need for a pill or a knife.
(now that I've got someone to talk to)
My best friend for life.

*this poem was written to me in April by Janine Terry, I'm not putting it in as my poem, although it is very good. I'm posting it up to show just how much most (not all)friends never really last and some of them only come around when they need someone, but when YOU need someone, they are too busy to come around.These, we call "fake friends".
