A flash
A glimpse
A stark moment of time

Your face
Alight with joy
Eyes, bouncing with grace

My ears
Stretching to hear
This joyous event

Our hands
Intertwined
Bouncing with fire

Your words
Babbling out
Of this child to be

My mind
Dazed beyond belief
Soars the sky

Our hearts
Overjoyed
For all to see

A spark
A peek
A hearts breath of time
