I remember when you held me close,
When you told me you cared for me.

I remember when you kept me safe,
When I was scared, you were there.

I remember when you said forever,
And when forever made me cry.

I remember your words, and my tears.
When all I felt was hate.

But now I've moved on,
Thinking of you rarely, if at all.

But I will ALWAYS remember...
You were my first love.

A memory I will forever hold.
