How I wish for you to see
All that moves inside of me.
To understand what fuels my soul.
To fathom the emptiness of this hole.

But I can’t allow you to see my heart.

How I wish to worship you,
Be privy to that which no other knew.
To feel our bodies intertwined
To have your heart join with my mind.

But I can’t overcome my fear.

How I wish to taste your breath.
Explore you so there’s nothing left
To hide from me, or me from you
And revel in our union new.
