Ancient love
Friendly neighboor
Typical American retiree
In the brown house
Across the street
Giver of candy, aloe
And dog bisquits
Healing the toe
Of a burned child
Vaseline to my own torured soul
Full of wisdom
Wrinkled skin
Built with aged and brittle bones
Now he's gone
Is he happy?
Did he rejoin his wife?
Is he in heaven?
Is there heaven?
He won't be forgotten
But what does it matter?
Now he's nothing
But f*cking wormfood.
