This is a poem I wrote for my best friend that lives on the other side of the world and is called "Best Friends" Best friends They are like honey bees They always go together They are like roses One might be a bud While one might be full bloomed Roses unlike friends Don't last long Some die young Some die old Some even die before they are bloomed We are two of the lucky ones We survived Together We still have the rest of our lives to live Unlike the unfortunate May we, together Live our lives In full bloom. I thought this was an excellent metaphor, of the honeybee and roses. Let us all be happy bumblebees.... LOL |
